Join us in welcoming Mr. Feria in his new role as Principal of BridgePrep Academy of Duval!
Good afternoon parents, students, and the rest of the BridgePrep family,
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!
It is an honor to have been selected to lead the school as principal of this institution of high standards, high expectations, and high achievement as I complete 25 years in education. While the end of the school year turned out much differently than everyone expected, the Class of 2020 (our first graduating class) showed us that not even a pandemic would stop their success. Their commitment also inspires us to continue with our plans in the best interest of children, as our founding principal always said. While the world continues to change, our commitment to excellence remains the same.
To that end, I welcome this opportunity to take the school to the next level. Our focus will be academic improvement through a culture of teamwork. We all have talents in different areas and through this collaborative effort, we will ensure that every child excels, regardless of what we face. Because of this, the theme for the year will be “Super Me, Super You: Everyday Heroes Make Dreams Come True.”
