My name is Kharmayne Kannada and I am so excited to lead our school as the principal of BridgePrep Academy of Duval. I earned an undergraduate degree in Social Science and a Masters in Human Resource Management, both from the University of Maryland. I served in the United States Army for six years. During my time in the service I travelled the world and truly learned to appreciate the beauty of different cultures. I spent twelve years as an educator with Duval County Public Schools. During that time, I earned a Masters in Educational Leadership. I was a teacher, instructional coach and administrator. I always chose to work in school environments that challenged me but also allowed me to make the biggest difference in the lives of children. I truly believe that all children can and will succeed in a nurturing environment where high expectations exist. They must be challenged, encouraged, and supported through their educational journey. As your child’s principal, my goal is lead a faculty that will give the community a fantastic school. We will work together, learn from each other, and watch our students excel academically and socially! I look forward to working with you for another school year.
In the best interest of children,
Kharmayne Kannada, M.Ed
